This webquest asks you to investigate movies made by Indians for Indians (and the rest of us). Its an open ended webquest in that you can document either movie makers or actors.
Task: Watch one movie in which Indians are depicted. Relate how they are depicted with other materials we have read or viewed in class.
Product: A 2 page report including the following
You should give a brief overview of the role of Indians in the movie (numbers, sex, ages, gender, tribal affiliation), descriptions of how Indians are shown (clothing, languages spoken, skills,etc.)
You should also consider if Indians are villains, heroes, victims, etc.
When you relate the movie to material we have examined in class you should clearly identify it.
